Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using CertStreak (“the App”) developed by Octo8 (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CertStreak, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

CertStreak is an iOS application for preparing for professional certification exams. The App provides practice questions organized into a roadmap of practice exams, readiness tracking, study streaks, per-question notes, and optional cloud backup of your progress.

3. Not Affiliated with Certification Vendors

CertStreak is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Amazon, or any certification vendor. AZ-900, Azure, AWS, and other exam and product names are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify the exams the App helps you prepare for. All practice questions are original material created from publicly available study guides and documentation — they are not actual exam questions.

4. No Guarantee of Exam Success

The App is a study tool. Readiness percentages, practice-exam scores, and similar figures are estimates based on your practice activity, not predictions or guarantees of your result on a real exam. Exam registration, fees, scheduling, and results are entirely between you and the certification vendor.

5. Subscriptions (CertStreak Pro)

The free tier includes the first practice exam of each roadmap and a limited number of practice questions per day.
CertStreak Pro unlocks the full practice-exam roadmap, topic drills, and unlimited daily practice. Current plans: weekly ($7.99), monthly ($14.99, 3-day free trial), and yearly ($59.99, 3-day free trial). Prices in other regions are shown in the App and may vary; Turkish storefront pricing is set separately.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple Media Services terms.

6. Accounts & Backup

Creating an account is optional and exists to back up your study progress. You are responsible for the accuracy of your sign-in email and for keeping your credentials secure. If you delete the App without an account, your progress is permanently lost — the App states this prominently. You may delete your account (and with it your backup) at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the App’s question content; use the App to violate any certification vendor’s exam policies; or attempt to access other users’ data.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its original question content are owned by Octo8 and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octo8 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including exam outcomes.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version always lives at this page with its “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
