Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Every board either can be covered with dominoes or can be proven impossible. In Cover mode, drag across two neighbouring squares to lay a domino; cover every square to win. In Prove mode, tap squares to mark them. When your marked squares have more squares than neighbours between them, the balance scale tips and the board is proven impossible.
What is a squeeze?
A few squares that together touch fewer neighbouring squares than there are of them. Every domino pairs a square with a neighbour, so some marked square is always left without a partner, and no covering can exist.
How are stars awarded?
A proof earns more stars the fewer squares it uses: the shortest proof the board allows gets three. Hints cap a board’s stars: the first hint at two, the third at one.
Do hints cost money?
Never. Hints are free on every board for everyone; they only lower the most stars you can win on that board.
When does the daily board change?
Every day at 05:00 UTC (08:00 in Türkiye), the same board for everyone. It gets harder through the week, from Novice on Monday to an Advanced boss on Sunday. Solve it on its own day to keep your streak.
Why can't I open the next board?
In the free version, pack boards are played in order: you can replay any board you’ve solved, plus your next one, and Medium opens after Novice is finished. No Way? Premium lets you play any board in any order and unlocks Hard and Advanced.
What does Premium include, and how much is it?
The Hard and Advanced packs (110 more boards), playing any board in any order, the daily archive, new packs as they arrive, and no ads. It’s a yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial: $9.99 a year in the US, ₺499.99 in Türkiye; the App Store shows your own price.
How do I cancel Premium?
iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › No Way? Premium › Cancel. Cancel during the free trial and you won’t be charged. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I already have Premium but the app doesn't show it.
Open Settings › Restore Purchases in the app while signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with.
Will I lose my progress on a new phone?
No. Your stars, solved boards and streak sync through your own iCloud, so they follow you to your other iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account.
How do I stop personalised ads?
Use Settings › Privacy choices in the app, or turn off tracking for the app in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Premium removes ads altogether.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later. The game is in English and Turkish.
