Most mood apps give you five faces. Yedi gives you 130 words, adapted from the Feelings Wheel counselors use. Pick the one that fits, add where you are and why, and it's saved — on your phone, nowhere else.

Every feeling in Yedi hangs off one of seven cores, adapted from the Feelings Wheel (Roberts) that counselors use. Tap a core, then narrow it — or stop at the core if that is already the right word. The colour belongs to the feeling, never to the app.
Under ten seconds from unlock to saved.
Tap one of seven core feelings, then choose a more precise word — "angry" becomes "let down", "distant" or "resentful". Stop early whenever the word already fits. Mixed feelings? Log up to three in one entry.
Time is set automatically; place is filled in once, only if you allow it, or picked from a map. Add tags and a note in your own words. Under ten seconds from unlock to saved.
A calendar of dominant feelings, your year in pixels, counts by time of day and tag, a map of where you felt what, and "on this day" a year ago. Counts only — no scores, no interpretation.
Seven core feelings with more precise words beneath them, adapted from the Feelings Wheel (Roberts) counselors use to help name feelings.
No account to sign into, and no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. Your entries, notes, locations and photos are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Anxious but excited? Log up to three feelings in a single entry — each one counts in your look-backs.
Calendar, year-in-pixels, summaries by time of day and tag, and an emotion map. Sharable images contain no personal data.
Home Screen widget, Control Center, the Action button or Siri. Reminders at a fixed time or random moments — you decide.
Lock with Face ID. Export everything as JSON, CSV or a PDF report; restore from your own backup any time.

The journal itself is free, and stays that way — no cap on entries, no cap on reminders, no feature held back to make a point. Yedi Plus adds four things for when your journal has been going a while.

Yedi Plus
$11.99/year or $29.99 once
Optional, and never a condition of keeping your journal.
Yearly $11.99 with a 3-day free trial · Lifetime $29.99, a one-time purchase. Prices shown are US; the App Store shows your own currency. Yedi is a notebook, not a service. There is nothing to sign into, and your entries are never uploaded to us.
Yedi keeps a record; it does not give medical or psychological advice.
