Terms of Use

The terms for using Yedi, the private feelings journal by Octo8.

Last updated · September 2026

These are the same terms you’ll find inside the app.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Yedi (the “App”) you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. What the App is

The App is a journaling tool for noting your feelings for your own records. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service; it provides no diagnosis, treatment or advice. Nothing in the App replaces professional health support. If you have concerns about your health, consult a health professional.

3. License

Octo8 grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with Apple’s App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App.

4. Yedi Plus

Yedi Plus is an optional feature set acquired through in-app purchase: a yearly auto-renewing subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase; subscriptions renew at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings; refunds are subject to Apple’s policies. Any unused portion of a free trial on the yearly plan is forfeited when you purchase. When Plus ends, your entries, photos and exports always remain accessible; only Plus features (iCloud sync, PDF Notebook, adding new photos, themes) turn off.

5. Your data

Everything you enter belongs to you and stays on your device — and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in the private iCloud database tied to your Apple Account. Backups are your responsibility; Octo8 is not liable for data loss resulting from device loss or removal of the App.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The App is provided “as is”. Octo8 does not guarantee that the App will run uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Octo8 is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms, and may change or discontinue the App at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction over disputes.
